Okay, so I've posted more text-based info on our Thanksgiving weekend over on unsweetened.ca.
Wanna see the full set of photos, what we ate @ the AGO, who came for dinner, what we ate then too? Well click through, 'cause that's the only way you're going to see it. ;->
Yes, the feast of all feasts is coming and I'm already salivating. Turkey - yum! Cranberry sauce - extra yum! Potatoes - yum! Apple in any and all forms - yum yum yum!
Our menu this year is going to include some long time favourites:
- Turkey w/ garlic molasses glaze
- Pepper Cornbread stuffing
- Cranberry sauce w/ orange zest (sadly, we'll have to do without Roth's fresh cranberry relish)
- Riced Potatoes
- Candied Yams (courtesy of M.Tinto)
- Baked Squash w/ brown sugar
And I can't wait.
What are you making? [[Take the poll over on unsweetened.ca]]
Inspired by June, who was inspired by Jeani, who was inspired by the BBC readers poll. Now this is a poll I can get behind! Prepare for oversharing... and you know if I'm sharing, I'm asking you to spill the beans too.
Note: I've left the links to BBC in so you can figure out what it is if you don't know.

Today was a surprising day. I expected it to be fairly slow and easy since I was packing up... but it was event filled.
First, The News EMC published an article on CheapEats Ottawa and our call for recommendations. Tom Collins, yes that's his name, wrote a great article and we're already seeing recommendations flowing in.
Next Rockr & Junkii decided to take me the open-air play in Strathcona Park. This was a traditional summer activity for me when I lived in Ottawa, and it was great to go again.
AND, in the line up to the play, I ran into my Aunt. My Aunt from Holland!!!!
How cool is that.
